These objects act as single entities: they can create decisions, observe their environment and operate alone. They also act in the manner of a colony where each entity is influenced by the state of the colony and the surrounding environment. The colony behaviour exhibited in Chatter
Chatter and Listening is made using technologies including embedded microcontroller systems and wireless communications, combined with traditional practices to realize an intermedia artwork.
